Environmental Permit Compliance Assessments
Compliance Assessments are to ensure that you are adhering to all of the conditions and rules within both your Environmental Permits and Planning Applications. It is a great way to determine any non compliance's prior to an Environmental Agency Audit.

The results of a compliance assessment are recorded on a Compliance Assessment Report. We provide the permit holder with a copy of the report and discuss any non compliance's raised.

Compliance assessments vary in frequency, duration, detail and complexity. This depends on the type and scale of the activity and the likelihood of non-compliance. An audit may assess all or the majority of conditions within a permit. An inspection or desktop assessment may only focus on a few, specific conditions.

If you rear pigs or poultry, you may need an environmental permit. You must apply for a bespoke environmental permit to rear pigs or poultry intensively in an installation if you have more than:

2,000 places for production pigs (over 30kg)

750 places for sows
