The CIWM / WAMITAB Waste Management Qualifications are nationally recognised through the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and are gained in the workplace.

There are no entry requirements for these qualifications; however, there is a requirement for learners to provide evidence generated from the workplace and must therefore have access to the correct working environment and tasks that allow the learner to complete the qualification.
The above qualifications are designed to uncover your underpinning knowledge and understanding for waste transfer activities and demonstrate your overall operator competence. The qualifications have been developed by the Waste Management industry, Advisory and Training Board (WAMITAB) in conjunction with CIWM and managers within the Waste Management Industry.
