The Waste Duty of Care eLearning course provides a comprehensive and practical understanding of waste management responsibilities and the legal duties placed on those who produce, handle, transfer and manage waste.
The course explores the complete waste management chain and its key stakeholders, explaining what waste is and the roles and responsibilities of waste holders. Learners are guided through waste classification using the List of Waste (EWC Catalogue), application of the waste hierarchy, and the correct completion of waste transfer documentation and hazardous waste consignment notes.
The course also examines digital waste tracking requirements and the important role waste holders play in identifying and preventing waste crime.
This is more than a simple overview. The course is fully narrated and highly interactive, using engaging learning activities to build a thorough understanding of Waste Duty of Care and how it applies in practice.
